Welcome to
Research Group on Medical Polymers for Hard Tissue
The Research Group on Medical Polymers for Hard Tissue at Sichuan University, leading by Prof. Jianshu Li, has been dedicated to the fundamental research and industrial transformation of biocompatible polymer materials for hard tissues, such as teeth and bones.
The research directions are closely aligned with the forefront of scientific disciplines and national needs, including:
Biomaterials for tissue repairing
Multifunctional antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory biomaterials
Bioadhesives
Smart sensing materials for hard tissues
Commercialization of oral medical materials and devices
The research group comprises 8 full-time faculty members, including one professor, six associate professors, and one full-time postdoctoral researcher, 13 doctoral students and 22 master's students in various stages of their programs.
