Dr.Jing Xie, Research Associate Professor, Ph.D. supervisor, and a researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering. She received her Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Jilin University in 2009 and obtained her Master's degree in Science from Jilin University in 2012. In February 2016, she earned her Ph.D. from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. In July 2016, she joined Sichuan University and was honored with the title of Overseas High-level Talent by the Sichuan Province in 2019.
Dr. Xie is involved in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. She teaches undergraduate courses on "Fine and Functional Polymer Materials" and "Modern Testing and Characterization." At the graduate level, she offers courses on "Introduction to Biomedical Engineering" and "Biological Material Surface Interfaces."
She is the principal investigator for eight research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects (both general and for young scientists), projects from the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province, and projects under the National Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering's Excellent Young Talent program.
Dr. Xie has published over 40 SCI papers, with 27 of them published as the first author or corresponding author in prestigious journals like Advanced Materials, Materials Horizons, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Macromolecules, and the Journal of Controlled Release. She has also applied for 14 Chinese invention patents, six of which have been granted.
